Our Scripture reading for today is Mark 12 as we see the way Jesus chose to rest by being kind to his neighbors. There’s more to this interaction than meets the eye.
Today we’ll be challenged to show kindness to our own neighbors—those we like and even our enemy neighbors.
Simple acts of kindness can help people rest. They will know they are valued by God and by you, their neighbor. If you’d like to download and color some notes to give to your neighbors, below you’ll find the ones we used in service today. You can also attach them to a food donation to offer your vulnerable neighbor in need.
