Yahweh designed special holidays where rest was a reset. These special Sabbaths were a rest reset for the land & animals as well as the people, a rest reset of economic equality, and a rest reset of ancestral heritage. They will also point back to the ideals created from the very beginning in the Garden of Eden, aka: the Garden of Delight.

Today’s Scripture readings from Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy, and Luke will guide us to imagine our own Eden ideal and consider the capacity we have to help others have a rest reset.
