We chose the image of a blueprint for our study in Acts, and two of our passages on Sunday truly depict the framework of what the church was meant to be—community at its best.
However, with every ideal, there are times when it falls short. We can learn from the best and worst moments of the first century church. We’ll read about both today.
Along the way, we’ll find our own responsibility as the church: how are we carrying the holiness of Yahweh?
