We’ve been examining the songs surrounding Jesus’ birth. This week we’re taking a closer look at Mary and her visit with her cousin, Elizabeth.
Mary responds to her calling from God with a song, famously known in some churches as the Magnificat. Yet there are some revolutionary messages about Yahweh in the joyous solo that you might not have expected.
